This policy does not apply to mobility scooters or motorised wheelchairs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>We have heard the feedback of many guests who have had unpleasant experiences involving disruption to the holiday experience, resulting from e-rideables. This decision aims to improve your overall experience at our park and create safer shared pathways and roads.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:100%\"><div id=\"template_block_63b1af54a34871eb095cb1d34114a0ce\" class=\"template-block\">\n  <div id=\"faqs\">\n                            <ul class=\"faqs--container\">\n            <li class=\"faqs--question style--plain\" id=\"why-is-rac-doing-this\">\n              <span>\n                              <\/span>\n              <span>Why is RAC doing this?<\/span><\/li>\n            <li class=\"faqs--answer style--plain\" style=\"display: none;\">\n              <span>\n                              <\/span>\n              <span>\n                <p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3166\">We are implementing a permanent ban at RAC Cervantes Holiday Park, along with a open feedback period to help ensure a safer and more enjoyable environment for all guests during their stay.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3356\">In recent times, we\u2019ve received increasing feedback from both guests and team members regarding unsafe use of e-rideables \u2014 including incidents where riders have not followed road rules or have created unsafe conditions, particularly for families with young children.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3625\">This has become a challenge for our team to manage consistently on-site. With a number of other holiday parks across WA having already introduced similar bans and seen overwhelmingly positive guest feedback, we are taking this opportunity to do the same approach at RAC Cervantes Holiday Park.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"3920\">This ban will allow us to better understand its impact on the guest experience, and we welcome feedback throughout the open feedback period to help inform any future decisions across our other holiday parks &amp; resorts.<\/p>\n                              <\/span>\n            <\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n                  <ul class=\"faqs--container\">\n            <li class=\"faqs--question style--plain\" id=\"are-all-e-rideable-types-banned\">\n              <span>\n                              <\/span>\n              <span>Are all e-rideable types banned?<\/span><\/li>\n            <li class=\"faqs--answer style--plain\" style=\"display: none;\">\n              <span>\n                              <\/span>\n              <span>\n                <p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4173\">The ban applies to all recreational e-rideables, including:<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4234\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Electric scooters (eScooters)<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4273\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Electric skateboards (eSkateboards)<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4318\">\u00b7\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Electric bicycles (eBikes)<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4354\">Mobility aids such as motorised wheelchairs and mobility scooters are not included in the ban and remain welcome within the park.<\/p>\n                              <\/span>\n            <\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n                  <ul class=\"faqs--container\">\n            <li class=\"faqs--question style--plain\" id=\"where-can-i-use-my-e-rideable\">\n              <span>\n                              <\/span>\n              <span>Where can I use my e-rideable?<\/span><\/li>\n            <li class=\"faqs--answer style--plain\" style=\"display: none;\">\n              <span>\n                              <\/span>\n              <span>\n                <p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4517\">We recognise that e-rideables offer a range of benefits \u2014 from supporting sustainable travel to reducing traffic and encouraging outdoor exploration. While the use of e-rideables is temporarily restricted within the park grounds, they remain a fantastic way to discover the beautiful surrounds of Cervantes.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4826\">Here are a couple of recommended rides nearby:<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"4874\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">Hansen Bay Lookout<\/strong> \u2013 Just one kilometre from <span data-highlighted=\"true\" data-vc=\"highlighted-text\">RAC<\/span> Cervantes Holiday Park, this short ride offers stunning panoramic views of Hansen Bay, the offshore islands, Lake Thetis, and the Cervantes townsite.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"5074\"><strong data-renderer-mark=\"true\">Lake Thetis Stromatolites<\/strong> \u2013 Approximately one kilometre further along Hansen Bay Lookout Road, this natural wonder features rare living marine stromatolites. The scenic ride there is well worth the visit.<\/p>\n<p data-renderer-start-pos=\"5280\">We encourage you to take advantage of these local highlights while enjoying the benefits of your e-rideable outside of the park. The ban is in place from 1 July 2025 and is intended to help us evaluate how the absence of e-rideables affects the guest experience. We welcome your feedback during your stay, which will help inform any future decisions to expand the ban to our other holiday parks and resorts.<\/p>\n                              <\/span>\n            <\/li>\n          <\/ul>\n                  <ul class=\"faqs--container\">\n            <li class=\"faqs--question style--plain\" id=\"what-happens-if-someone-is-seen-using-an-e-rideable-in-the-park-during-the-trial\">\n              <span>\n                              <\/span>\n              <span>What happens if someone is seen using an e-rideable in the park during the trial?<\/span><\/li>\n            <li class=\"faqs--answer style--plain\" style=\"display: none;\">\n              <span>\n                              <\/span>\n              <span>\n                <p>Our team will politely remind guests of the ban and ask them to dismount and walk their e-rideable out of the park. We ask all guests to help maintain a safe and relaxed environment by respecting the temporary policy. We do ask all riders to travel at a safe speed and be mindful of pedestrians and young children.
