Exmouth will be the best place
On April 20, 2023 at approximately 11:27am, the sun, moon and the earth’s discs will all align for this significant 1 minute, 16 second event. The total solar eclipse, also known as the annual solar eclipse will be visible to most of the world, however the best place to witness this amazing event is the Exmouth peninsula.
Other places in the world will be able to see a hybrid eclipse, but won’t see the full effect of the total eclipse, like we will in Exmouth.
There are expectations that approximately 50,000 visitors will ascend on the town to get a rare glimpse of a total solar eclipse.
RAC Exmouth Cape Holiday Park has not yet opened bookings for this momentous occasion, but we are planning to release the bookings 12 months in advance, with RAC members having the first opportunity to book via presale.
