Feed the dolphins

This is a no-brainer. Make sure you check out one of the three dolphin feeding sessions held daily. The sessions are free and if you’re lucky we may even ask you to help with the feeding.

Why not visit a working pearl farm during your trip to Monkey Mia? The Red Bluff Pearl Farm is the only one in WA open to tourists and offers a truly unique experience. Come down to the jetty and jump aboard for the 8-minute ride across Red Cliff Bay. While you’re there you could even treat yourself, or someone special, to some jewellery.

Explore the bay

Shark Bay is Australia’s largest. Boasting over 1000 kilometres of pristine beach and calm, inviting waters, a day at the beach is a Monkey Mia must do.

Blowholes

Take a walk along the cliff to our blowholes. Watch the water blast up through the rocks a full 100 metres above sea level.

Ocean Park Aquarium

Enjoy a fun day out at Shark Bay’s Ocean Park Aquarium. The eco-friendly attraction is home to turtles, sea snakes, stingrays and all sorts of sea creatures. Adventurous types can take in a dive experience or a 4WD tour while Ocean Restaurant is a good option for those seeking a relaxing meal overlooking the water.
