Indian Ocean Festival – Saturday November 11

News no responses

The Indian Ocean Festival has become the most anticipated event on the Turquoise Coast. Incorporating the blessing of the crayfishing fleet the community event is a day packed full of entertainment for the whole family. Watch the rope coiling championships, visit market stalls, listen to live music, there’s amusements, cultural events, licensed bar and fireworks.

To embrace the festival spirit we will be hosting a pre-event BBQ alongside the RAC Rescue helicopter experience on Friday afternoon (November 10th) at 3pm at RAC Cervantes Holiday Park. Come and enjoy a free hotdog and cool-drink and try out the RAC Rescue experience.

The RAC Rescue Experience gives an insight into the incredible work of the RAC Rescue helicopters. The experience enables you to take to the sky with the crew using virtual reality technology. The 4 minute, 360 degree experience takes you on a mission on board one of the RAC Rescue helicopters.

Then wake up on Saturday morning (already there!) and catch the free shuttle bus to the Indian Ocean Festival in Jurien Bay.

Shuttle Bus will run from RAC Cervantes Holiday Park to the Indian Ocean Festival at Dobbyn Park, Jurien Bay where the festival will be held. Entry is $2.
