Park Expansion Project RAC Esperance Holiday Park

The exciting expansion project at RAC Esperance Holiday Park is now complete, with bookings open for guests. The project has resulted in increased guest amenity and accommodation options for travellers to the incredible seaside town of Esperance and its surrounds. View the time lapse video below and watch as the project reaches completion.

The Azure Lodge

A key highlight from the expansion was the refurbishment of the iconic Fresh Air League building, now known as the luxurious Azure Lodge. The work undertaken on the lodge pairs historical restoration with modern upgrades, resulting in a quality accommodation offering sleeping up to 8 guests.

Increased accommodation offering in Esperance

In addition to the Azure Lodge, the $9.5m expansion along Goldfields Road has delivered increased accommodation options for travellers. The expansion offers a range of new one-bedroom studios and one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. The increased accommodation options also includes both large and standard powered caravan sites serviced by the new unisex ensuite ablution block and laundry.

Accessible holidays for all

The expansion project also sees the addition of a fully Accessible One Bedroom Garden Villa designed to accommodate guests with increased mobility and accessibility needs. This is in addition to the existing Accessible Two Bedroom Pool Villa. Both accommodation options are wheelchair accessible and feature lowered kitchen benchtops, widened doorframes, a fully accessible bathroom, accessible indoor and outdoor dining spaces, and gold standard concrete pathways connecting guests to a dedicated ACROD approved parking bay.

For campers, our new ablution block is made up of five gender-neutral standard ensuites and one fully accessible ensuite site to service guests with increased mobility requirements. The accessible ensuite site features larger circulation spaces for wheelchairs and walking frames, a large shower with no floor lip, a flexi hose shower head, adjustable wall benches and is fitted with grab rails.
