Mountain bike trails
Leave straight from the property and hit the mountain bike trails. We have 19 mountain bikes suitable for teenagers and 5 suitable for children. Helmets are provided free with hire. Should you require more bikes, we are happy to put you in touch with a local hire company.
Nearer to Nature
Run by the Department of Parks and Wildlife, Nearer to Nature provides opportunities for children of all ages to take part in hands on experiential learning in a natural environment. You can find out more information about the sessions run onsite at the property here.
Students can engage in sensory skills as they explore the forest along a rope trail whilst blindfolded (suitable for years 1 to 12).
Let Wadandi custodian Josh “Koomal” Whiteland introduce you to the world’s oldest living culture and educate your students on the local Wadandi and Bibbulman country.
Koomal Dreaming’s cultural awareness sessions are held at our onsite amphitheatre and deliver an awareness of country, people, society, environment, science and history through public speaking, artefact displays and traditional music. Josh has worked within the Education Department for over ten years and is familiar with cultural curriculum requirements.
- Q Does RAC Margaret River Nature Park offer catering?
No, we do not offer catering. You are welcome to BYO food and use our camp kitchen facilities, or organise your own caterer to visit the park. Our friendly team are happy to provide recommendations on local caterers.
