General Questions

What is there to do in Coral Bay?
Snorkel the along one of the longest fringing reefs in the world; Ningaloo Reef and see some incredible ocean life including turtles, huge fish, baby sharks, sting rays and hundred-year-old coral. Join a glass bottom boat tour, swim with whale sharks (seasonal) and manta rays, spot humpback whales (seasonal), sail into the sunset on a yacht cruise, quad bike tours, off-road buggy tours and scenic flights.

Is there Caravan and Camping?
Our Ningaloo Reef Resort does not have a caravan and camping section.

Is the Resort pet-friendly?

Where can I eat?
All of our rooms are well equipped with cooking facilities and we do have communal BBQ’s that all of our guests are welcome to use. Our Shades restaurant onsite is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There is a small convenience store located in town, another two restaurants, a café and a bakery.

Where can you hire snorkel equipment?
The Ningaloo Kayak Adventure Hut Located on the beach Of Bill’s Bay.

Where is the shark nursery?
Take a stroll about a 15 minutes’ down the beach from the Resort to Skeleton Bay, where you will see a large school of sharks feeding most mornings.

Where can we go fishing?
Anywhere outside the governed sanctuary zones.

What time does the bar close?
Anytime between 10pm and 12am.

What night is live music?
Live Music at the Resort is held on a Thursday night between 7pm – 10pm.

Is the Ocean View Apartment on the ground floor?
Our Oceanview rooms are located on the top floor of our Resort.

Where can I get fresh water?
Fresh Water can be bought inside reception, charges apply.

Where are the toilets located?
Public toilets are located behind the café and bar.

Where is the laundry?
The laundry is located behind the reception at the back of the Resort.

How much is the laundry and what coins does it use? 
Load of washing cost $5. The machine only takes $1 coins.

What times is the pool open?
The pool is open only in daylight hours.
