Can I request to stay next to my friends or family?

Our website does not currently allow you to make group bookings.
For your best chance to secure side by side accommodation or sites, we recommend that each family book their own site/accommodation and then have a representative of your group email our team with your groups booking numbers at the earliest convenience. Our team will then endeavour to situate you next to each other, however accommodation or site placement cannot be guaranteed. Please allow 3-5 business days for an email response.

When can I book school holidays?

Due to high volume demand, we have a repeat booking and release process in place for school holiday periods. Find out more about school holiday bookings here.

How do I claim my RAC member discount?

A:
When booking online, enter your RAC member number in step 2 of the booking process. You can find your RAC member number on your member card, on your bill or by logging into myRAC. The RAC member discount is only available when booking direct.

What is RAC Karri Valley Resort’s cancellation policy?

A:
You can cancel up to 72hrs prior to your arrival without penalty.
Cancellations made within 72 hours of your arrival will forfeit the cost of your first night’s stay.

Is the resort pet-friendly?

No, we are not pet-friendly as our resort is situated within a national park where pets are not allowed. We appreciate your understanding.

What time is check-in/check-out?

Check-in is from 2pm, and check-out is by 10am.
Please note that our reception closes at 6pm. If you are arriving after this time, please get in touch with our team ahead of your stay to organise after-hours check-in.
We will also provide you with an after-hours or emergency contact number upon your arrival for added peace of mind.

Yes, if you arrive after 6pm we can organise an after-hours check-in for you.

What phone service providers work at the resort?

Only Telstra offers mobile phone coverage at the resort.
Free Wi-Fi is available for you to use, but please be aware there are black spots around the resort. You may not be able to get Wi-Fi reception in your accommodation.

Beedelup Falls is located a 20-minute walk from our resort accommodation, or a 40-minute walk from our campground.

Yes, you can find a range of wineries in Pemberton, located just a short drive from the resort.

Do you have a restaurant or café on site?

Yes, Lakeside Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily. The Lodge offers a more casual dining and bar experience. Opening hours may vary according to seasons.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we have free Wi-Fi available for guests to use, but please be aware there are areas with no coverage.

Are bikes and scooters allowed?

Yes, you are welcome to bring your bike and/or scooter with you.
Please note that helmets are mandatory. Resort rules must be adhered to.

Do you have laundry facilities?

Yes, we have a guest laundry. Washing and drying machines are available for guest use for a small fee.

What is available in your general store?

We have a range of products available for your convenience, including cold drinks, ice creams, breakfast items, tea, coffee, and other condiments.
Alternatively, you can visit Pemberton General Store to pick up your essentials, which can be found a short drive from the resort.

Do you have equipment for hire?

Yes, you are welcome to hire a range of equipment from our on-site activities centre. This includes bikes, canoes, stand up paddle boards, fishing equipment and more.

Can I wash my car/caravan/boat?

Due to water restrictions, no washing of cars, caravans and/or boats is allowed in our resort.

Is there accessible accommodation and is the park wheelchair friendly?

Our accessibility-friendly accommodation includes one fully accessible 2 Bedroom Forest View Chalet with a fully accessible kitchen and bathroom, widened door frames and wheelchair access.
Our Lakeside Restaurant is wheelchair-friendly, with ramp access available. There is also an accessible bathroom available in our shared amenities block.

Do you have a swimming pool?

No, we do not have a swimming pool. However, our location on Lake Beedelup offers plenty of water-based fun.

What resort activities are there?

There are plenty of activities to enjoy throughout the resort. These include trout fishing, meeting new friends at our animal farm, hiring canoes on Lake Beedelup, enjoying a game of mini golf and so much more.

Does the resort have a spa?

No, our resort does not offer a spa, but you will find plenty of other opportunities to relax during your stay.

Is linen provided in chalet and room accommodation?

Yes, all linen is provided for you.
Please make sure to bring your own swimming towels if you are planning on taking part in water-based activities.

Is firewood supplied for the fireplaces in my chalet?

Yes, firewood is supplied during the colder months to help you stay warm and cosy inside.
Campground FAQs

Do you have a dump point on site?

Yes, we have a dump point available that is easily accessible to all caravan and camping sites.

Can I use my generator?

No. The use of generators is not permitted within the park. However, please note that our powered caravan and camping sites offer 240 volts/15-amp power.

What is in the camp kitchen?

Our camp kitchen is equipped with kettles, toasters, microwaves, ovens, stovetops, fridges, and hot water.
Please note we do not have communal pots, pans, cutlery, or cooking utensils, so make sure to bring these with you.

How much shade will my campsite have?

Our new campground has been built in a spectacular valley that was historically cleared for HOP farming in the 1970s. We did not remove any additional trees to clear our campground. We have instead planted many trees throughout the campground, but these are still young. We appreciate your understanding and patience as they grow.
As a result, shade within our campground is currently minimal. We recommend that you bring portable shade with you, such as an awning or gazebo.

Can I light a campfire?

During the permitted fire season, we hire out firepits from reception or you are welcome to bring your own. If you plan to bring your own, please ensure it is an enclosed design and is at least 30cm off the ground. There is also a communal fireplace in the camp kitchen and Lodge spaces which guests are welcome to enjoy in cooler months (when permitted). All fires are subject to local fire restrictions.

How far is Lake Beedelup from the campgrounds?

Lake Beedelup is located on the opposite side of Vasse Highway to the campground and is a 20-minute walk or short bike ride away through the karri trees.
Please make sure to keep left on the road and ensure children are always supervised by adults.

How far are the resort facilities from the campgrounds?

Our resort facilities are an approximate 20-minute walk from our campground area. If you are staying in our campground, you are very welcome to use the resort facilities.
There are also plenty of facilities within our campground for you to use. These include our camp kitchen, recreation room, nature playground, tennis court and more.
