RAC Esperance Holiday Park redevelopment complete

The new and improved RAC Esperance Holiday Park has officially reopened

Set right on the beachfront at Esperance Bay, RAC Esperance Holiday Park has officially re-opened after a complete redevelopment of the property – just in time for the school holidays.

Inspired by the colours of the bay, the new Holiday Park comes with state-of-the-art facilities and brand new Bay Villas with unrivalled ocean views.

Overlook the ocean from your living room

With West Aussies exploring more and more of their state, Esperance has emerged as a popular getaway location and demand for accommodation has skyrocketed.

We’re thrilled to welcome guests back to the Park to enjoy the many improvements and additions.

When RAC Parks & Resorts originally purchased what was then the Esperance Seaview Holiday Park in 2019, the site hadn’t been refurbished since the 1960s and was quite run down.

After it’s rebranding as RAC Esperance Holiday Park, we set in motion plans for a complete redevelopment to enhance its potential and offer an improved tourism experience.

RAC Esperance Holiday Park then closed in April 2021 for an overhaul of the grounds, accommodation and facilities.

Plenty of accommodation options

The redeveloped Holiday Park comes with accommodation suited to all kinds of travellers, from couples seeking a quiet getaway to larger families looking for a pet-friendly stay.

For those in larger groups, we have 2 and 3 Bedroom Bay Villas which are fully self-contained with exceptional views of Esperance Bay. There is also a purpose built Accessible 2 Bedroom Bay Villa, which comes supported by accessible footpaths, parking and facilities throughout the Park. The fully accessible villa has been specifically designed with wide spaces and doors, lowered benchtops as well as a bathroom fitted with basin access and grab rails.

For singles and couples, there are also 1 Bedroom Studios on-site, some of which boast bay views.

If you’d like to bring your dog with you on your beachside break, you’ll be pleased to know the park is set up with 2 Bedroom Pet-Friendly Park Cabins. These spacious cabins have a fully enclosed veranda and adjoining grassed area for your dog to stretch its legs.

You’ll also find an on-site dog wash to clean up after a day at the beach. The dog wash is conveniently stationed near the recreation room and camp kitchen, so guests can wash their dog before returning to their accommodation.

Guests with dogs are also welcome at our pet-friendly powered caravan and tent sites. If you’re a pet-free camper, you can camp in style at one of our spacious ensuite sites, giving you access to a private shower, vanity and toilet.

New and improved facilities

The Park also has a general store on-site. Located near the new nature playground and heated pool, you can now stock up on grocery items, souvenirs and snacks.

For those camping or staying in a caravan at the Park, you’ll get to enjoy a little luxury in our state-of-the-art camp kitchen. The space comes equipped with plenty of electric cooktop stoves, ovens, hot water urns, fridges, microwaves and toasters so you can truly cook up a feast and save on eating out. There is also ample bench space with views of the bay.

State-of-the-art camp kitchen facilities

Our recreation room is a great place to unwind in the evening with family and friends. You can watch a movie night or challenge your mates to a round of table tennis.

For those times when the waters off Esperance Bay are a little too cool, our new large pool is heated year-round. And just a stone’s throw away from the pool is a nature playground for the kids.

To make sure you can easily find your way between all of the park facilities, we’ve developed an extensive network of paths that wind through the site. Working with the Shire of Esperance, we’ve ensured safe pedestrian and cyclist access to and from the Park so guests can cycle or walk into town or cross over to the beach. We even asked RAC members to name the streets within the Park.
