On Tuesday 26 November, the RAC Esperance Holiday Park expansion was officially celebrated with an opening night event at the beautiful Azure Lodge. Staff, guests and locals came together to mark this exciting new chapter for the Park and the community. The turnout was fantastic, with representatives from the Esperance Chamber of Commerce & Industry, the Shire of Esperance, tourism operators, and a number of RAC’s Parks & Resorts staff including the dedicated Esperance team.
The evening kicked off with a heart-felt speech from RAC’s Parks & Resorts’ Chief Operating Officer, Mark Weller, sharing the vision for the future and the significance of this expansion. After the speech, a ribbon-cutting provided a special moment to mark the occasion. Local produce and suppliers provided a delightful spread of food and drink, such as Esperance Distillery.
There was a sense of pride and community spirit felt throughout the event. Locals were especially pleased to see that the Azure Lodge refurbishment preserved part of the original building.
