Leave your firewood at home

We would like to share some important advice from the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD). A tiny beetle known as the polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB) has been causing damage to trees in the Perth metro area. To help stop its spread, DPIRD is asking all visitors not to bring firewood from Perth or other affected areas.

While we understand it may be convenient to bring your own firewood, we kindly ask that you leave it at home.

Where can I buy firewood?
We offer firewood on site at a rate of $25/bag purchased at reception.

What other fire equipment do you have to purchase?
- Fire pit package is $35 and includes fire pit rental, bag of wood, matches and fire starters.
- Bag of wood is $25
- Fire pit rental is $5
- Additional nights for fire pit rental is $10 per night
All items are available to purchase at reception.

What if I have already brought firewood from home?
If you’ve already brought firewood from outside the region, please keep it in your vehicle, do not burn it and take it back to use at home.

How do I know if I am in the quarantined area?

Can I bring my own fire pit?
Yes, guests can bring their own firepits, permitted it is 300mm above ground.

I’m staying in a cabin or lodge, will there be firewood provided?
Yes, the fireplace will be set up with kindling, firewood and fire starters. Extra firewood is available at reception.
