Located just off Shark Bay road, Shell Beach is a must-see location during your holiday to Monkey Mia and the Shark Bay region. Located around a 45 minute drive from the resort, it’s a great location to visit when you check out Eagle Bluff lookout or on your way in and out of Monkey Mia.
Made up almost entirely of millions, possibly even trillions of white cockle shells, Shell Beach creates a surreal and enchanting landscape. One of Shell Beach’s most remarkable features lies within its waters, the extraordinary levels of salinity, similar to the levels found at Hamelin Pool.
Shell Beach has toilets on site, but with limited shade, we recommend to bring adequate sun protection.
