It’s been six months since the opening of our highly anticipated campground at RAC Karri Valley Resort. We’ve learnt a lot in the short time we’ve been open to ensure this iconic holiday spot meets the needs of our caravan and camping community looking to wander out yonder in the Southern Forest and Valleys Region.
We’ve received some fantastic feedback from guests to help us understand what improvements we could make to improve the experience of our guests and are excited to share these updates.
2021 Updates to RAC Karri Valley Resort campgrounds
New bathrooms
To ensure a pleasant and comfortable stay for our guests during peak shower times, we have added two new bathroom buildings, each consisting of 2 luxurious full ensuite bathrooms and 2 powder rooms. Adding an additional 8 toilets, 8 vanities and 4 showers.
Additional grass
All of our lower level powered sites have now been laid with fresh kikuyu grass turf. Our maintenance team are tending to it with great care to ensure our Spring and Summer caravan and camping guests have lush, green grass to peg into upon arrival.
Fireplace relocation
To create a more welcoming feel, we’ve moved the two fireplaces in the Camp Kitchen from the outer walls of the building to the centre of the camp kitchen. This will make gathering around the fireplace easier and create a central place for campers to congregate during the cooler winter months. These fireplaces have already been incredibly popular with our guests this winter and we look forward to making camping in Pemberton during the cooler months more accessible and comfortable.
RAC Karri Valley Resort has been a popular holiday destination for WA families for decades. Its spectacular location truly is like nowhere else in WA and we find great joy in giving our guests the opportunity to continue to create memorable experiences with their loved ones. We strive for continuous improvement and welcome our guest’s feedback to improve the overall experience of RAC Karri Valley Resort.
