The Gascoyne Region takes centre stage in the much-anticipated follow-up to last year’s resoundingly successful Gascoyne Food Festival.
Flavours of Shark Bay
18 September | 1 – 4pm
Join us at the RAC Monkey Mia Dolphin Resort with award winning chef, Tony Howell, and sample the best local produce the Shark Bay and Gascoyne region has to offer at this beachfront event on the shores of Monkey Mia.
Guests will enjoy a live cooking demonstration from Tony and a selection of WA beer and wine. This is an event on the Gascoyne Food Festival calendar that should not be missed.
- Canapes only: $55 per person – enjoy a beverage on arrival, selection of canapes and live cooking demonstration from Tony Howell and live music entertainment
- Canapes with beverages: $85 per person – inclusions as above, with the addition of all-inclusive drinks package for the duration of the event
Chef Tony Howell
Western Australian born and bred, Tony Howell discovered his passion for cooking as a bright-eyed 14-year-old while working in a Mexican restaurant to pay for surfboards.
Fast-forward 30 years and in that time Chef Tone, as he is affectionately known, has garnered a reputation as one of Australia’s best chefs. He has worked in the State’s finest restaurants, cooked alongside the world’s best including Heston Blumenthal, Alex Atala, Rene Redzepi and Sat Bains, he has been flown overseas to cook with Curtis Stone and at hotel openings and private functions.
Tony is passionate about local, sustainable, seasonal produce and his approach to food is uncompromising.
